Eligibility criteria

In 2021, Scroll will cater only to homeowners with existing buy-to-let residential properties.
Scroll will offer Home Equity Loans and Lines of Credit secured on one or more such properties owned by the borrower. The security must be evidenced through a legal charge registered at HM Land Registry.


  • Individuals or Limited Company SPVs
  • All applicants must be UK residents, with the primary applicant earning at least £20,000 per annum
  • Prime applicants with clean credit history


  • Residential buy-to-let properties located within England or Wales
  • A minimum property value of £75,000
  • Maximum Loan-to-value (LTV) ratio of 80%

  • Gross property rental income must exceed required interest cover ratio
  • Property purchase, renovations, and refurbishments, business investments
